A Visit From Australia

We had a wonderful visit from Jonathan's sister, Berenice and Stephen Rarig. They are currently serving with MTW in Perth, Australia. Aunty Berenice is a beautiful artist and she came up with a great art project that all of the children could participate in. We have a crab apple tree in the front of our house, that blooms so pretty. The kids love climbing that tree and carving in the trunk. It's a great memory of our first home. They began with the trunk by painting each and every foot and toe and pressed onto the canvas for the trunk. Next, they painted hands and fingers to make the beautiful pink foilage. We loved our visit with them, it seemed too short. The kids will have this really, neat memory with their Aunt and Uncle from Australia.

Our finished artwork, I don't have a place for it yet, but set it up on our mantle in front of an existing picture, so it kinda looks framed already.
