We've been so busy this summer already, I think it's time for some updates. Swimming lessons for 5 at they YMCA. They had so much fun, did really well. Madeline especially, she was so timid last year, but has warmed up and got brave. This was Elizabeth's first time taking lessons, what a brute. She just jumps right in and bosses everyone around, she was really paying close attention to the teacher's instructions on swimming. They taught her ice scream scoops, like you cup your hand and swim forward and scoop the "ice cream". One night, I went in to put Haleigh to bed and Elizabeth is sound asleep on the bottom bunk, but moaning ice scream scoops, ice scream scoops. It was pretty funny, because she even had the hand motions while lying there.
Neighborhood Kickball
We rounded up our kids, and invited the neighbor kids up the street to the park to play some kickball. Pat and Stacie came too.

Birthday Party
Jack's 5th Birthday, we had a birthday party and a camp out in the backyard, with smores and everything. Only 1 girl went home and Madeline and I slept in the house after about an hour of trying to fall asleep out there. We had fun though and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved finally catching up on everyone's activities. I can imagine how busy you must be. that's good though!
And it looks like Jack had an awesome birthday! How cool!!!
