Update on Jack's Eye Surgery

Jack, our 5yr old had some trouble with one eye turning in. We had tried some patching and some glasses for some time and we had not seen any results. We then decided to go with eye muscle surgery. He had surgery on Dec 3, 2008 and the result was not what we had hoped, in fact it looked worse as his eye was turning outward now. Apparently, a lot of scar tissue had formed and pushed the eye in that direction. The dr recommended another surgery and we went ahead and did that on Feb 3, 2009. It is now 7 weeks post op and I'm so happy to report that we have awesome results now. He is still due for a post op appointment, but to me, it has vastly improved and I don't even notice a change.
